Anchor was a show highlighting 12 artists who focus on painting, photography, sculpture, textile, metalwork, and video. After a really tough and isolating year, the artists were given 30 days to create work for this show with the theme of joy in mind. Joy to me is a moment anchored in happiness and fulfillment, something we must find within ourselves to then share with others. I hope you saw and felt the joy within the space that night.
